Dads' Club of VPE
Hey VPE Dads, we need you - yes, YOU!
Built in 1956 on the original 1883 campus, Villa Park Elementary is one of Orange County's oldest elementary schools. Even with the tremendous improvements OUSD accomplished this summer, many of the school areas remain worn out. Our VPE Dads' Club was formed 11 years ago to take on the task repairing, replacing and making the most of all our ever-aging facilities. And, the beat goes on!
VPE DADS GET IT DONE!
The Dads' Club has completed scores of work projects. Repainting classrooms, making Library, Computer Lab and MPR upgrades, plus improving campus landscaping and playground areas. We also have raised thousands of dollars for needed classroom technology and other school improvements through Camp Bobcat, our fun annual year-end campus campout. Dads’ Club members are active on-campus volunteers, too. VPE has a fantastic tradition of not just Moms, but also Dads, helping inside the classroom and with our campus activities throughout the year.
VPE DADS HANG OUT!
It's not all work... We like to have fun and have some events throughout the year like Poker tournaments, softball games, meetings at local establishments. Plus we man the grill at carnival, help with set up and tear down all while having a good time. It's always great to see a familiar face on campus when you're part of the Dad's Club.
TIME COMMITMENT? NOT MUCH!
Can’t make a meeting here or there? – no problem. Have career and other volunteer commitments that limits your time at VPE? - we can work with you. We’ll take your assistance regardless of much or how little you can contribute. If you can fit in a couple volunteer hours this school year, you will make a difference.
